Nothingness

Into the depths of this dark night I lay,

its realms unfolding beneath my eyes,

each matching the darkness of my life,

side by side...step by step.

There is a glimmer of moon behind the clouds,

it's rays like droplets on my parched lips.

My thirsty soul bleating with pain...reaching out, seeking, searching.

Alas into nothingness..............
